MEET UP MONDAY: Please join our Whitney Point Community Schools and Early Eagles program for one LAST Meet Up Monday on July 31st. The Storytime will be held at Dorchester Park, North Shelter, from 10-11:30. Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers will enjoy books, songs, and activities. Grown-ups will have a chance to drink a cup of coffee, mingle with other parents and caregivers, and check out community resources including Sun Safety from the Health Department, WIC , Opportunities for Broome/Head Start, and more! We are kicking off our summer series of Meet Up Mondays next week on July 10th. Join us at Dorchester Park from 10-11:30 for a fun Picnic Themed Story-time. We will have activities set up for babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children to enjoy. Several community agencies including PACT, Mothers and Babies, and Cornell Cooperative Extension will be joining us with information and resources. Every family will leave with a FREE book to add to their own personal library. We hope to see you there!

It was Field Days today at the CEA! The students played games, ate ice cream and ran through inflatables. What an awesome way to start the summer! This afternoon, the kids will be receiving character ed medals at a special assembly.

For almost 50 years Cabaret has been WPHS’s annual variety and talent showcase – this year it will be on Tuesday, June 13th at 7:00pm in the HS Auditorium. Tickets are $5 – proceeds support the HS Chorus & Select Chorus. The event will include over two dozen performances, including solos, duets, acting, comedy, short student films, and instrumental performances, as well as performances from the Chorus and Select Chorus.
REMINDER: There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
