Senior highlighted as BOCES CDC Student Spotlight

We are pleased to share that Whitney Point High School senior Jason Copp was recognized by the Career Development Center at Broome-Tioga BOCES on Monday, November 25, as part of that program’s Student Spotlight.

This recognition is given to a student who is excelling at their CTE CO-OP (internship). Jason was chosen out of 1,400 students in CTE programs for the first Student Spotlight of the year because of his stellar work as a teacher aide in the Oaktree Program. He has become an integral and beloved part of that classroom!

"I help students with their work and support the teacher," said Jason. He added that he takes students for walks, too.

When asked what his favorite part of being a teacher aide was, Jason said he loves everything about it. After graduation, he would like to come back to work at BOCES.
