Staff from Rock On Cafe brought some delicious fruits and vegetables to Dorchester Park on July 22 for the Meet-Up Mondays Early Eagles gathering.

The children had a chance to taste blueberries, cherry tomatoes, and donut peaches. This event was a partnership between Broome-Tioga BOCES Rock On Cafe and the Food & Health Network. The goal was to expose young children to fruits and vegetables. Of the 20 children who participated, many tried all three. The most popular was the peaches, with 55% of the taste-testers liking them best, followed by 30% who preferred the blueberries, and 15% who loved the cherry tomatoes.
