Celebrating Excellence at the 33rd Annual Broome-Tioga Scholastic Recognition Dinner!
On June 20, the Broome-Tioga Chief School Administrators, with the generous support of Arcadis IBI Group, Coughlin & Gerhart LLP, and Day Automation, proudly hosted the Thirty-third Annual Broome-Tioga Scholastic Recognition Dinner. This prestigious event honored valedictorians and salutatorians from school districts across the region, celebrating their outstanding personal and scholastic achievements.
Each honored student was presented with a special award designed by William Mihalko, a retired teacher from Harpursville Central School District. Commissioned in 1991, Mr. Mihalko's award design consists of a black acrylic base with three mounted tablets featuring the Lamp of Learning and motifs representing Broome and Tioga counties—a carousel for Broome County and a steam engine for Tioga County.
This event underscores the importance of academic excellence and leadership, recognizing students who have demonstrated the ability to choose wisely, meet challenges, and succeed. The Broome-Tioga Chief School Administrators applaud these students' accomplishments and look forward to their future contributions to their professions and communities.
Congratulations to Co-Valedictorians David and Gerek Tupy and to all the honorees for their hard work and dedication. Your achievements are a testament to your perseverance and leadership. #ScholasticRecognition #FutureLeaders #AcademicExcellence #ClassOf2024
